Miss Cosmo 2025 runner-up Chelsea Fernandez didn’t hide her frustration after she accidentally left P100,000 in the car she booked after The Miss Philippines coronation night.
Fernandez expressed her sorrow on Facebook on Wednesday, May 13, after losing the large sum of money while sharing a clip of herself taking her final walk at Miss Cosmo Philippines 2025.
“She doesn’t know it yet, but after this event, she’ll lose P100k after leaving it in the car she booked, and no one will help and cooperate,” her text on the video read.
The beauty queen added in the caption, “I don’t know anymore. I feel devastated.”
It remains unknown if the Miss Cosmo queen booked a Grab, InDrive, JoyRide or GreenGSM, as she didn’t disclose which TNVS she referred to in her post.
Despite this, Fernandez earned the support of her followers in the comments, with some calling out TNVS drivers and “the next passenger” for not making an effort to return her money. Others sympathized with her as the money was supposed to be a fruit of her hard work.
Fernandez passed her Miss Cosmo Philippines crown to its current titleholder, Bella Ysmael, at The Miss Philippines coronation ball earlier this month.
The beauty queen, who represented Sultan Kudarat at Miss Universe Philippines 2025, also received a heartfelt letter from reigning Miss Cosmo Yolina Lindquist for being a “sister I never knew I needed.”
“On your journey, you led with more than just beauty and impact, you were a change maker for mangroves, a role model for women and girls, a friend for many to lean on, and for me, a gained sister that I never knew I needed,” she said. /ra
