Lion in Pink! Rajasthan Royals become latest team to unveil new jersey for IPL 2026

The new Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season is almost upon us. With the opening game kicking off on March 28, it is less than ten days remaining, and the buzz is slowly gaining traction. Teams have started to practise with their full-strength squads and there have been many jersey reveals as well. The latest team to unveil their IPL 2026 kit is none other than the inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals (RR), who have added blue colour to their traditional pink.

RR reveal new IPL 2026 jersey

Rajasthan Royals (RR) have revealed their striking new jersey for the upcoming IPL season. The team took to social media to share the striking design, which blends the franchise’s rich legacy with a modern twist.

The predominantly blue jersey, with pink accents, is a nod to the team’s past and present. This time, like CSK, there’s a lion emblem, a symbol of strength and pride as per the franchise. It is inspired by the team’s first blue-coloured logo, in which the franchise lifted their only crown. There are claw marks on the lower which embody RR’s fighting spirit.

In an event in Jaipur, captain Riyan Parag, along with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ravi Bishnoi, unveiled the new jersey. The event marked a fresh start for the Royals, who have made significant changes to their squad, including the departure of Sanju Samson to Chennai Super Kings.

The Royals have acquired Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja, adding firepower to their lineup. Jadeja, a part of RR’s inaugural IPL-winning team in 2008, returns to his home. With their new jersey and squad, the Royals are ready to roar back into action. Their campaign kicks off against CSK on March 30 in Guwahati, followed by an away game against Gujarat Titans on April 4 in Ahmedabad.
