What a weekend it’s been! With Blizzard casually dropping an update to Diablo II with the new Warlock class, Sony didn’t want to be outdone. To everyone’s surprise, a new God of War game has been revealed. God of War: Sons of Sparta follows Kratos journey before he became a god.
Experience an untold chapter in Kratos’ journey set during the harsh years of Spartan training alongside his brother Deimos. Through endless trials, their minds, bodies and hearts have been molded to become Spartan soldiers for whom duty and honor mean everything.
After a fellow cadet goes missing, Kratos and Deimos vow to find him and embark on an adventure that will put their training and Spartan spirit to the test.

God of War: Sons of Sparta is a 2D side scrolling ‘Metroidvania’ game with retro style art, returning Kratos to a familiar setting: for OG gamers, this pays homage to God of War: Betrayal, a mobile game that was released in 2007 and ran on the JAVA platform, popular on Nokia phones at that time.

God of War: Sons of Sparta is available now for purchase and download at the Playstation Store.
