Months after their rumored split, Claudine Barretto shared her renewed friendship with Milano Sanchez as she greeted the latter on his birthday.
Barretto marked Sanchez’s special day by showing photos of them leaning close to each other, via her Instagram page on Wednesday, May 20.
“Happy Birthday Milano Sanchez. Glad [we’re] friends again,” she said in the caption. “Wishing [you] happiness and good health.”
The actress also made an appeal to her followers, “[Please] no bashers allowed here po. Love love lang po lahat.”
In the comments section, Sanchez likewise expressed his delight over reconnecting with Barretto.
“Thank you very much, CB! So happy we are talking and laughing again!” he wrote, to which she replied, “I know right? Akalain mo nagpaloko tayo sa fake news. Uy friends na uli tayo.” (We were fooled by fake news. But now we’re back to being friends.)
Barretto, however, did not expound on the “fake news” she was referring to, which was apparently the reason behind their previous misunderstanding.
Barretto and Milano, who is the younger brother of veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez, sparked relationship rumors in October last year after the actress shared photos of them getting cozy with each other.
The pair were then rumored to have broken up in December after Barretto made several cryptic posts about a heartbreak. /edv
