Virat Kohli’s recent knock of 124 off 108 deliveries helped him go past the likes of Jacques Kallis, Joe Root and Sachin Tendulkar to register most hundreds against New Zealand across formats. While the 37-year-old came into the series decider with several records to be broken, he finally went past the record of most hundreds against the Kiwi side, making it ten centuries in 73 innings.

Previously, South Africa legend Jacques Kallis stood at the top of the list with as many as nine centuries which he registered in 76 innings. He was joined by Joe Root, who also has so far registered nine centuries in 71 innings and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who reached the mark across 780 innings.

Moreover, Virat Kohli’s recent 124-run knock against New Zealand in the third ODI in Indore, also added to his list of centuries. With this, he has now scored 10 centuries against New Zealand across formats.
